Assembly – Toys and Gender Stereotyping

How Do We Break The STEREOTYPES?

Description

During this assembly, students will learn that:

  • A stereotype is a set idea that people have about what someone or something is like.
  • Stereotypical means a standard viewpoint held by many people. This viewpoint isn’t always correct.
  • For example, it is Stereotypical to think that girls play with dolls all the time.
  • It is also Stereotypical to think wrestling figures are only made for boys to play with.
